Customs Declaration for Checked Baggage
1 – I DECLARE:
a) That the baggage listed below contains only personal items currently in use and in lawful customs status, typically used during travel such as clothing, household linen, toiletries, books, and sports equipment, and that these items are not being imported for commercial purposes.
b) That the baggage does not contain:
Food products, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, anethole, firearms, knives, ammunition, explosives, drugs, live animals, plants, radio transmitters or transceivers, protected species or products derived from protected species as defined by the Washington Convention of March 3, 1973 on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora;
Goods intended for free or commercial distribution, or goods intended for professional use or trade;
Items purchased or received outside the customs territory that have not yet been declared to the customs authorities of the country of habitual residence (this restriction applies only in the case of returning to the country of habitual residence). The duty-free allowance for travelers arriving from a non-EU country is €430 for adults;
Cash, securities, or assets equal to or exceeding €10,000 or the equivalent in foreign currency;
More broadly, any other merchandise prohibited under the French Customs Code.
2 – I AUTHORIZE
The airline or its subcontractor to complete all customs formalities on my behalf.
3 – I ACKNOWLEDGE
That in the case of an inaccurate declaration, I may be subject to a fine and potential seizure of the goods.
By signing this declaration, the passenger acknowledges the applicable customs regulations and confirms that there is nothing to declare.
THE SUBMISSION OF THIS DECLARATION DOES NOT PREVENT CUSTOMS FROM INSPECTING THE RELEVANT BAGGAGE.
